  • A parent/caregiver and son (ages 9-12) discuss an assigned chapter book they have read together.
  • Fun activities and light refreshments are included.
  • Families must have a current Provo City Library card or registered Orem Library card to participate.
  • Held the fourth Thursday of the month from 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Story Room, #117.
  • Preregister online at the beginning of each month.  Please register both the child and the parent or caregiver.

Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnatses. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys’ detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the boys build character by spending all day, every day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. But there are an awful lot of holes.
